24 of 24 people found the following review helpful  Excellent!, August 11, 2009 = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Belt Blaster w/ 30 darts & 30 connectible shells (Toy) I had put a moratorium on new blasters in my house because I had so many that I couldn't turn around without tripping over one or stepping on darts, but when I saw this gun I knew I had to get it. It just looked so neat, I could just imagine myself dressed like Rambo spraying darts over everything.
1) Power: It's a springloaded airpusher powered by one pump of your left hand, i.e. you pump once to cock a piston which when released pushes out air. I have some doubts about the integrity of the seal between the piston and the shell because the shell rotates against the air seal and I wonder how long that will last. Brand new, the power is pretty good. The spring is a pretty heavy one.
2) Jamming: None so far. The rotating action that rotates the belt feels very solid and I've not had the shells jam so far. The barrel is only 6 inches long and has an inside sleeve of a different material with a little layer of grease or protectant on it. I do not recommend rubbing... 9 of 9 people found the following review helpful Excellent Gun...Better than NERF!, November 22, 2009 = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: Belt Blaster w/ 30 darts & 30 connectible shells (Toy) I'm a pretty big fan of off-brand NERF type guns for use in Humans vs Zombies as the other brands (Air Zone, Buzz Bee, Lanard) don't care much about safety and thus do not water their toys down! This gun holds 30 rounds (hugs plus) and is pretty easy to mod. Unmodded however, it shoots quite far out of the box and pack a delightful stinging punch that is quite intimidating! I went online and looked for review and discovered that it was considered reliable and worth the money.
Finally, we broke down and ordered it for Christmas. My six-yr old has been in heaven! He loves using it in the house (and I love that it is easy on the breakable items) and in outside in the snow.
